À l'invitation de Sporobole pour le festival Espace IMmedia
Dans la gorge de la rivière Magog, l’installation se déploie en trois animations simultanées. Aux tumultes de la chute se juxtaposent une animation d’image de synthèse ainsi qu’une animation lumineuse.
Inspirée de l’histoire de Sherbrooke et des activités industrielles qui se sont développées autour de la rivière Magog, l’animation de synthèse crée un écho numérique aux transformations manufacturières de la matière et des éléments naturels. Canalisées et contraintes par le développement industriel, les forces et énergies, autant celles des ouvriers que celle de la rivière contrôlée par le barrage, appellent à l’ébullition et au débordement.
C’est à ce jaillissement lumineux dans la gorge de la rivière, rencontre du réel et du virtuel, du naturel et du technologique, que l’on vous convie.

At the invitation of Sporobole for the Espace IMmedia festival
In the gorge of the Magog River, the installation is deployed in three simultaneous animations. The tumults of the fall are juxtaposed with a 3D animation as well as a light animation.
Inspired by the history of Sherbrooke and the industrial activities that developed around the Magog River, the 3D animation creates a digital echo of the manufacturing transformations of matter and natural elements. Channeled and constrained by industrial development, the forces and energies, both of the workers and of the river controlled by the dam, call for boiling and overflowing.
It is to this luminous outpouring in the throat of the river, meeting the real and the virtual, the natural and the technological, that we invite you.
